Sar Pass, although a moderate trek, is a perfect one for beginners. The trek starts from 1,650 meters and raises to an altitude of 4,180 meters. Although the climb is tiring at some moments but one gets rewarded by beautiful green meadows, quaint villages, views of snow-covered mountains and the amazing slide after the pass. This trail offers a gamut of experiences to trekkers. The trek demands a level of fitness and the minimum age is 14 years to participate.......

How to reach Kasol, Parvati Valley?
- Take a direct bus from New Delhi/Chandigarh for Kasol.
- Buses run between 5 pm - 10 pm from Delhi and takes 12-14 hrs to Kasol.
- From Chandigarh they run in between 10 pm - 2 am and takes 6-7 hrs to Kasol. Once at Kasol, follow google map location for our base camp.
- We will share the location on WhatsApp group. It’s at walking distance from Kasol main chowk.

Note : If you are staying in Manali, take a direct cab or public bus for Kasol (76 km).
Things to Carry
- Trekking shoes : Carry water proof trekking shoes with good grip and ankle support. Do not carry sports shoes.
- Three layers of warm clothes : Carry two or three-layer jackets, fleece jackets and a padded jacket.
- Two/Three trek pants : Carry light cotton trek pants. Denim/jeans and shorts are not suitable for trekking.
- Three t-shirts (collared/dri-fit) : Full sleeved t-shirts that prevent sun burns on the neck and arms. Carry one or two dri-fit t-shirts.
- Thermals : Carry thermals (top and bottom).
- Sunglasses : Sunglasses are mandatory. There will be lot of snow on the trek and can cause snow blindness.
- Cap : At high altitude, the sun is extra harsh so carry a cap to protect yourself.
- Water proof hand gloves : Carry water proof gloves and avoid woollen gloves as they will get wet if you touch snow.
- Socks (3-4 pairs) and a pair of woollen socks : Apart from two sports socks, you can take a pair of woollen socks for the night.
- Headlamp/LED torch : Mandatory
- Raincoat/Ponchos : At high altitudes, snowfall and rain are quite common and it’s mandatory to carry a poncho so that you don’t get wet. The trek will continue as planned even during rainfall.
- Lunch box and water bottle : Every participant should have their personal lunch box and a water bottle [insulated type].
- Toiletries: Keep items like toilet paper, wipes, moisturiser and sunscreen.
- First Aid Kit: Carry items like few basic medicines, few antiseptics and adhesives.

Itinerary
- Reach Kasol base camp by 10 AM. Freshen Up and Registration on arrival.
- Acclimatization walk to Kasol town.
- Orientation for the trek in the evening.
- Overnight stay at Kasol base camp.
Mandatory Documents
- ✔️ Medical Certificate should be signed by a registered MBBS doctor and should have the seal of the doctor.
- ✔️ Original and photocopy of Aadhar card required. In case of Foreign Nationals Passport and Visa would be required.
- ✔️ NOC form with participant signature (will be provided on arrival at base camp)
- ✔️ Passport sized photograph - 2 no.

NOTE :Carry the above mentioned medicines with you, such that it’s easily accessible at all times. Take medicines only after consulting your trek leaders.
Who can participate ?
Anyone who is above 12 years of age with a good physical strength and stamina can participate in the event. Participants should not have any medical issues like Hypertension, Asthma, Diabetes or breathing problems.
Participants should prepare themselves before participating in the trek such that they are able to jog/brisk walk 5 kms in 40 minutes. Participants with a BMI of 30 and above need to get it below 30 before joining the trek.
Preparation :
Strong physical fitness is a must for any Himalayan Treks. Whenever one is undertaking activities like High Altitude Trekking, make sure that you are preparing yourself for the trek in terms of Aerobic fitness, muscle strength and breathing rhythm.
