- Best clothes: Use quick dry material(full sleeve t-shirts and trousers to avoid sun burns) while trekking at low altitudes(2000 m to 4000 m), with a jacket if its cold.
- Shoes: Trekking shoes with good sole, ankle support and waterproof properties are good. If one is buying a new pair, use it at least 14 days before trek to set it loose.
- Backpack: Back pack should be according to the the trek duration. Backpack cover is essential to keep it dry.
- Carry your own medication like Diamox, Crepe Bandage, paracetamol, Electral powder, Glucose and first aid kit.
- Rain coat is an essential for all the treks.
- Woolen cap or scarf are important after the sunset
- Thermal wear is essential in the night but not during the trek. A minimum of one pair of thermal wear is essential for all the treks as temperature drops to negative in the night.
- Extra pair of socks and underwear, lunchbox, water bottle, knife, match box, compass, torch, map, toiletriesare other essentials.
- Sleeping bag of at least 0 degrees is recommended.
- Carry a lightweight four season dome tent for stay.
